UPDATE: Dave Elphick stabbed and dog killed in farm attack

UPDATE: Dave and Colleen Elphick were held at gunpoint in their home on Saturday night.

This is the second time the couple have been robbed over the past month.

Three suspects broke into their house and found the couple in the living room.

The Elphicks’ dog was shot and Dave stabbed in the left upper arm. Colleen wasn’t injured.

The suspects stole a cellphone before they fled.

KAAPMUIDEN – A man was stabbed in the arm and his dog killed during a farm attack last night near Althorpe. According to Bossies Community Justice’s Albert Gryvenstein, the incident occurred at around 20:45.

“His wife was left unharmed, but it was alleged that there were three suspects involved who fled after they pressed the panic button on their alarm.”
