Suspects flee after failed ATM bombing in Mangweni

MANGWENI – Suspects had to flee empty handed after they couldn’t break into an ATM in Mangweni early this morning.

According to Sgt Nomsa Lephoko of Tonga SAPS, the suspects tried to bomb the ATM but only managed to damage the computer system and part of the building housing the safe.

A case of ATM bombing was opened at Tonga SAPS and is being investigated.

No one has been arrested in connection with the incident and anyone with information that could lead to the suspects’ arrest can contact Tonga police on 082-448-9481.
