NOTICE NOTICE OF ENVIRONMENTAL IMPACT ASSESMENT DMR REFERENCE NO: LP30/5/1/3/2/10893 MP & LP/30//1/3/10894 MP Notice is hereby given in terms of regulation 41(2)(c), 2014 of the National Environmental Management Act, and Regulation 50 of the Minerals and Petroleum Resource Development act (MPRDA, Act 28 of 2002) of the intention of SEBEGO MINERAL RESOURCES (PTY) LTD to mine Aggregate and Sand General on the farm Enzaam 811-KS and also to mine Aggregate and Sand General on the farm Scheepersrust 771-KS W within Sekhukhune District in Limpopo Province Project Description The proposed mining of Aggregate and Sand General will be an open pit mine to a depth of 6m to 30m. The equipment that will be used for the mining of Aggregate and Sand General includes excavators, tipper trucks, processing plan and the mined minerals will be processed on a plant on site then loaded onto 6 cubic meter tipper trucks, then transported to the Markets and industries. The mining activities will be for a period of two (2) years with possibility of renewal for three (3) years, and the mining infrastructure will include: tipper trucks, excavator, stockpile areas, processing plant and office building. Gudani Consulting has been appointed as the Environmental Assessment Practitioner (EAP) to undertake the public participation processes as part of Environmental Management Plan for the proposed project.
